Member of the House of Representatives Ali al-Soul confirmed a consensus between the House of Representatives and the High Council of State on election laws and a political roadmap that includes unifying institutions and forming a unified government.
In exclusive statements to “Al-Masar” TV, Al-Soul explained that the intervention of the United Nations mission in this process obstructed the consensus reached between the two councils, noting that the Libyan dialogue was on a positive track before the mission’s intervention.
Al-Soul opined that the mission’s objective in expanding the dialogue is to manage the crisis in Libya rather than solve it, stressing that a genuine solution must be purely Libyan, free from any external interventions.
