Member of the House of Representatives Ali Al-Takbali affirmed that the upcoming phase will witness widespread reforms and an actual unification of national institutions. He noted that the political and security situations are moving towards improvement with the support of serious international actions, in a statement to the Libyan News Agency (LANA).
Al-Takbali said, “We are optimistic that what is to come will be better. There are serious countries helping Libyans overcome their differences, and the Libyan army will soon be unified, God willing. Widespread reforms will also be carried out in state institutions.”
He pointed out that the oil and energy portfolio will be in safe hands, stressing that the next phase will witness the formation of a unified government and unified sovereign positions that will serve the country’s interest.
He stressed that political disputes will not last long in light of the continuous UN efforts to bring the viewpoints of the Libyan parties closer together.
