Undersecretary of the Libyan Oil Ministry, Rifaat al-Abbar, praised the plan of offering projects for investment in the field of oil and gas in the two conferences to be held in the coming months in Texas, USA and Tripoli, Libya.
Al-Abbar, who is also Chairman of the Technical Committee for Oil and Gas Sector, stated the sector’s readiness to implement what is entrusted to it in this regard and to present programs and proposals related to investment in oil and gas.
Al-Abbar considered offering projects for investment in the field of oil and gas in the two conferences as a step in the right direction for developing oil and gas sector and benefiting from wealth in a way that serves the economic and technical goals.
“It also enables raising production rates and bringing about industrial and economic development with a good positive return for Libya,” according to al-Abbar.
