Benghazi – The Jaliyana Free Zone port continues to welcome imported fuel shipments for Brega Oil Marketing Company, aiming to meet local market needs and ensure a steady supply of oil products.
Samir Al-Nabbal, head of marine services, said the port is currently unloading the MRC Civiv tanker, which is delivering around 32,000 tons of gasoline—equivalent to 44 million liters—for Sharaf Shipping Agency.
He added that the port will receive the gasoline tanker Valdi Rice later today, carrying about 30,000 tons of gasoline for Badr Shipping Agency.
In addition, a diesel tanker finished unloading last Saturday, delivering approximately 32,946 tons of diesel to Amir Al-Bihar Shipping Agency.
Al-Nabbal noted that the total cargo from the three tankers amounts to roughly 94,946 tons of fuel, all imported by Brega Oil Marketing Company.
He stressed that the Jaliyana Free Zone management prioritizes fuel tankers’ entry into the designated oil berth to avoid any delays. This ensures quick unloading and smooth fuel supply to help stabilize the local market.
