The Libyan Prime Minister designated by the House of Representatives, Fathi Bashagha, discussed with the British Ambassador to Libya, Caroline Hurndall, the latest developments in the North African country.
According to the government’s statement, the meeting is part of a series of meetings held by Bashagha for the discussion of the latest developments in Libya.
The meeting was attended by the Libyan Foreign Minister, Hafez Kaddour.
It is noteworthy that Bashagha discussed on Thursday political stalemate in Libya with Germany’s Special Envoy to Libya Christian Buck and Ambassador Michael Ohnmacht.
The three officials talked about “how to overcome the current stalemate and how to move forward towards elections,” according to Ohnmacht.
