Sebha – The Bayt Fezzan Foundation held a meeting on Sunday with the office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in the city of Sebha to discuss avenues for joint cooperation between the two parties. The discussion focused particularly on empowering graduating youth through diplomatic training programs aimed at developing skills, enhancing active participation in public life, and opening new career prospects for the youth of the south.
The head of the Bayt Fezzan Foundation, Aisha Yousef Ahmed, praised the services provided by the Foreign Ministry’s Sebha office and the streamlined procedures for citizens both at home and abroad, expressing her thanks and appreciation for the efforts of the office’s management in serving the region’s residents.
For his part, the director of the Foreign Ministry office, Mousa Theyab Ateeq, affirmed his full support for any youth initiatives aimed at building local capacities. He noted that the Ministry is open to cooperating with civil society organizations in a way that serves the aspirations of Libyan youth and enhances their presence both locally and internationally.
The meeting concluded by emphasizing the importance of building strategic partnerships between government institutions and civil society to support stability and development in the south.
