The Education Controller of Benghazi, Bel-Eid Al-Werfalli, announced on Wednesday the launch of the Education Competency Project, as part of a comprehensive plan aimed at improving the quality of education and enhancing the capabilities of both teachers and students.
In a special statement to the Libyan News Agency (LANA), Al-Werfalli said: The project aims to implement specialized training programs for teachers, focusing on developing pedagogical and educational skills and adopting modern teaching methods, in addition to improving the learning environment within schools to align with the demands of the modern era and the job market.
He added that the project represents a “cornerstone for building an advanced educational system” that contributes to preparing a creative and aware generation, capable of serving its country and actively participating in shaping the future.
He pointed out that the project is part of the Ministry of Education’s vision to develop the education sector in Libya and achieve a qualitative leap in the quality of educational outcomes.
Al-Werfalli expressed his aspiration to achieve tangible results that contribute to enhancing the quality of education in the city and raising the efficiency of educational staff and students, in a manner that keeps pace with global developments in the education sector.
