The Central Bank of Libya (CBL) announced Wednesday the arrival of the fourth cash shipment, worth 100 million dinars (over $20 million), to Benghazi.
The bank said in a statement that the shipment arrived at Benina International Airport Tuesday and will be distributed to the branches of banks in the Eastern region (Cyrenaica).
This shipment comes within the framework of the schedule of shipments programmed to be transferred to the Central Bank branch in Benghazi, with a value of one billion dinars (over $200 million).
The arrival of liquidity to Benghazi began last Saturday, according to the agreed-upon dates, as the total amount delivered has become 400 million dinars so far.
