Libyan Foreign Minister, Najla Elmangoush, held a meeting with her Senegalese counterpart, Aïssata Tall Sall, on the sidelines of the 21st regular session of the Executive Council of the Community of Sahel-Saharan States (CEN-SAD), where the meeting dealt with the development and strengthening of cooperation and bilateral relations between the two countries.
The Senegalese Foreign Minister affirmed her country’s support for the outgoing Government of National Unity, adherence to the democratic path, and its support for the Libyan people, Libyan Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
For her part, Elmangoush valued the solidarity and supportive stance of the Republic of Senegal for the Libyan people, expressing her appreciation for her wise leadership and her country’s support for the return of CEN-SAD Executive Secretariat and the start of its work from the capital Tripoli soon.
