The First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Fawzi Al-Nuwari, held talks on Wednesday with chairman of the High Council of State, Khaled Al-Mishri at the parliament’s office in Tripoli.
According to a statement by the parliament, the two constitutional basis for national elections and electoral laws and setting date for those elections.
They also “stressed the need to reach consensus on these issues as soon as possible” as it “should not remain unresolved,” as per the parliament’s statement .
