Dbeibeh and Erdogan discuss Turkish companies return to work in Libya

Turkish President, Recep Erdogan, met on Saturday with the Prime Minister of the Libyan Government of National Unity (GNU), Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh, at Wahideddin Palace in Istanbul, said the Turkish presidency.

The two sides discussed strengthening bilateral cooperation relations between the two countries, the return of Turkish companies to work in Libya, in addition to facilitating visa procedures and following up on outstanding files, according to GNU Media Office.

Turkish Anadolu Agency reported that the meeting lasted about an hour and a half, without giving further details.

Earlier on Saturday, the Turkish Presidency Communication Department said that Erdogan and Dbeibeh would initially hold a bilateral meeting, before the delegations of the two countries would participate in the meeting later.
