Moscow – The Russian Defense Ministry announced today, Wednesday, that the Russian army targeted Ukrainian military sites. It also targeted Ukrainian energy infrastructure.
The ministry stated in a press release that Russian armed forces damaged an ammunition depot. They also hit long-range drone preparation and launch sites. Energy infrastructure facilities used by Ukrainian forces were also affected.
The statement further elaborated on the participating Russian forces. Tactical operational air forces conducted raids. Attack drone forces were also involved. Missile and artillery forces contributed to the operations. These forces targeted an ammunition depot. Sites for preparing and launching long-range drones were also hit. Energy infrastructure facilities used by Ukrainian forces were struck. Furthermore, temporary deployment points for Ukrainian armed forces in 144 areas came under attack.
The ministry also noted that Russian forces improved their tactical positions. They achieved victories against Ukrainian assault units. Four mechanized brigades of the Ukrainian armed forces were defeated. Three National Guard brigades were also defeated.
