Mohammed al-Hawij, the interim government’s minister of economy, toured Benghazi’s seaport on Tuesday and said he was encouraged to turn it into a free trade zone after seeing the performance of its workers.
During his visit, al-Hawij met Yazid Bouzraida, Director of the Libyan Company for Ports in Benghazi, who expressed his company’s readiness to implement the minister’s vision.
