Benghazi – The Pioneers of Entrepreneurship Foundation for Development, Digital Investment, and Artificial Intelligence organized an electronic discussion workshop. It aimed to promote AI and digitalization culture among Libyan youth. This is part of its efforts to expand youth participation in modern technology and the digital economy.
Abdullah Maatouq, the Foundation’s CEO, noted the workshop’s discussions. It covered artificial intelligence applications and digital transformation. The workshop also prepared for an international digital event. This event aims to achieve a world record. It seeks entry into the Guinness Book of Records. It will feature broad participation from within and outside Libya.
The workshop announced several outcomes. These include launching Libya’s first online digital Quran memorization competition. It also announced an extended workshop on April 15, 2026. This will gather experts and participants from various countries. The goal is to exchange expertise on AI in different fields.
Maatouq affirmed the initiatives’ objectives. They aim to empower Libyan youth. They also seek to equip them with future skills. This will boost their participation in the digital economy. Ultimately, it builds an innovative knowledge society.
