The European Union Border Assistance Mission to Libya (EUBAM Libya) concluded a training program on border security management for mid-level commanding officers from the Libyan Ministry of Interior (MoI).
Held in close collaboration with the GASO-Specialized Training Institute from February 4th to 8th, the program aimed to equip participants with advanced knowledge and skills to improve border control and management practices, according to EUBAM.
The intensive one-week program covered a diverse range of topics crucial for effective border security, EUBAM said a statement on Wednesday.
“EUBAM experts delivered insightful presentations on risk and crisis management, information exchange strategies, combating cross-border crime, utilizing border technology, optimizing human resources within law enforcement agencies, and upholding fundamental human rights principles,” the statement pointed out.
