British, German, and French ambassadors to Libya marked today in Tobruk in eastern Libya the Remembrance Sunday to commemorate their soldiers and officers who lost their lives in the City area during World War.
“An honour to be here in Tobruk today to mark Remembrance Sunday with my German and French partners,” said the British Ambassador to Libya, Caroline Hurndall.
“Today we commemorate all those who have lost their lives in conflict,” Hurndall tweeted.
“Countries that were once adversaries now standing as friends, we reflected on the power of reconciliation,” she added.
