The Libyan Foreign Ministry reviewed on Sunday final form of framework memorandum of understanding to be signed with a number of international organizations that make support programs and activities for the stability of Libya.
The memorandum was discussed by the Committee for Organizing the Work of International Organizations in Libya, formed under Prime Minister Decree No. 116 of 2021, which held its third regular meeting today, headed by the Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Cooperation and Organizations Affairs, Omar Kitti, at the ministry’s headquarters in Tripoli, according to the Foreign Ministry.
The meeting also touched on the proposal to form the National Committee for Coordination of International Support, the Ministry said on its official Facebook page on Sunday.
It is worth noting that the Prime Minister’s Decree No. 116 of 2021 is related to the formation of a committee to oversee the organization of international support programs and activities for the stability of Libya, in coordination with the sectors and entities benefiting from these programs, in addition to listing the activities of international governmental and non-governmental organizations implementing international support programs.
