Libyan Foreign Minister, Najla Elmangoush, directed for the necessity of following up on the conditions and cases of Libyan prisoners in Iraq.
The Foreign Ministry stated that M’hammed Zidan, Undersecretary for Expatriate Affairs and Chairman of the Permanent Committee to Follow Up on the Conditions and Cases of Libyan Prisoners Abroad, and his accompanying delegation arrived on Sunday to the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.
The Ministry indicated that the delegation is on an official work mission to follow up on the issue of Libyan prisoners in Iraq.
The Undersecretary met with the Chargé d’Affairs of the Libyan Embassy, Esseid Ali Esseid, in order to overcome difficulties to take the necessary measures in preparation for their visit after the issuance of official approvals, which were set on Monday in Nasiriyah.
