Zliten – The Support and Emergency Medicine Center reported four fatalities. Eight people were also injured. This occurred due to a fire. The blaze broke out in a residential apartment. The apartment housed workers in central Zliten.
The center stated it received a phone call this evening. The call reported a fire on the third floor of a residential apartment. Two ambulances quickly responded to the incident site. A large crowd of citizens and foreign residents was present. Police patrols had secured the area.
The center further reported the evacuation of eight people. They were transported to the hospital. First aid and immediate treatment were given. This was for severe smoke inhalation cases. Four individuals were found dead inside the apartment.
