Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, the General Commander of the Libyan National Army (LNA), held talks on Tuesday with Speaker of the House of Representatives Aguila Saleh and U.N. Special Envoy Abdoulaye Bathily.
According to a brief statement by LNA’s General Command, the three men discussed the latest political developments in Libya.
The LNA also pointed out that the meeting took place at sunset as Haftar hosted Saleh and Bathily for an evening meal to break the fast of Ramadan.
