The Libyan House of Representatives (HoR) discussed in its session on Tuesday the distribution of seats to electoral districts across the country to start the draft law for the upcoming House of Representatives election, in addition to preparing questioning items in detail to be referred to the Government of National Unity (GNU) so that it can prepare its responses for the questioning session.
During Tuesday’s session, a vote was taken to ratify the Paris Climate Agreement and the protection of the environment for life on earth, in addition to circulating the draft laws completed by the Legislative Committee to vote on them, namely the Law on the Protection of the Man-made River Project, the Law of the Internal Security Agency and the Law on Combating Cybercrime, which will be discussed and voted on later.
It is noteworthy that Monday’s session concluded with the formation of a committee of HoR members to communicate with the Ministry of Finance to get informed about the money spent by GNU and how it was spent, and to use information from the Audit Bureau and the Administrative Control Authority.
