Libyan House of Representatives session for today has been postponed to next Monday, after it was scheduled to be held this afternoon to approve the budget of the Government of National Unity.
“The dispute over approving the government’s budget still exists among the members of the House, due to objections by some members on the size of the budget allocated to the Libyan National Army,” a source from the HoR presidency told Libya Update.
The government had called on the HoR to approve its budget as soon as possible, as the proposed budget amounted to 93 billion Libyan dinars (about USD21 billion).
