Chairman of the Libyan High National Elections Commission (HNEC), Imad al-Sayeh, received Tuesday the Special Envoy of UN Secretary-General to Libya, Jan Kubis.
The meeting reviewed HNEC’s preparations for the elections scheduled for December 24, HNEC said in a statement.
It also dealt with latest developments regarding Berlin conference II and failure of the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum members to reach a constitutional basis that paves the way for holding elections on time, HNEC statement added.
