The Derna branch of the Anti-Illegal Immigration Agency has deported 79 illegal migrants to their countries of origin.
The agency’s leadership affirmed that the deportation is part of its efforts to regulate and control the status of migrants within its jurisdiction, in coordination with the relevant security authorities.
It added that this measure is part of a plan to curb the phenomenon of illegal immigration, while ensuring the humane and legal treatment of migrants in accordance with international laws and conventions.
