These tours took place in Zawia and Al-Bayda cities. They targeted bakeries, restaurants, and catering companies. The goal was to ensure compliance with health requirements.
In Zawia, inspection teams identified several violations in some bakeries and restaurants. These included poor general hygiene. Essential tools like flour sieves were missing. Insects were found in preparation areas. Water tanks were non-compliant. Inspection rooms were present within food preparation and fermentation areas.
In Al-Bayda, inspections revealed different violations. These included a lack of licenses or health certificates for workers. Unsuitable tools and equipment were in use. Prohibited colors were used in preparing sweets. First-aid kits were not available.
The competent authorities reported that violation reports were prepared. These reports were forwarded to the Municipal Guard for necessary legal action.
