The Media Office of the Libyan House of Representatives’ Speaker confirmed Tuesday that consultations between the House (HoR) and the High Council of State (HCS) were continuing in order to achieve political consensus, especially on the road map with its various constitutional, political and security tracks, in addition to the file of sovereign positions and others.
The Office stated that the consultations with HCS were for bypassing the current stage and reaching presidential and parliamentary elections as soon as possible.
It added that HoR voted on today’s session to exclude HCS from recommending new prime minister.
