Libya’s outgoing Health Minister Ramadan Abu Janah met on Monday with his Jordanian counterpart Firas Al-Hawari the issue to discuss payment of treatment costs for Libyan patients in Jordan.
According to a statement by Abu Janah, a joint committee of the Libyan and Jordanian health ministries is currently in the process of reviewing the accumulated debt which the Libyan government owes to Jordan.
The two ministers also discussed cooperation, training of medical and paramedical personnel, and reactivating previous agreements in the health field, Abu Janah said.
