A source at the Libyan 5+5 Joint Military Committee (JMC) said it is likely that the Committee will set a timetable and specific dates to remove mercenaries from Libya directly after a meeting to be held next month in Turkey, and then in another meeting in Russia.
The source said, on the sidelines of JMC meeting in Tunisia, that the meeting was a supplement to other meetings, including the meeting in Egypt, which was attended by Libya’s neighboring countries; Chad, Niger and Sudan.
At its meeting in Tunisia on Wednesday, JMC discussed mercenaries and foreign forces exit from Libya, in the presence of representatives of the African Union, European Union and the UN Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL).
