Libya recorded 556 new cases of COVID-19, in addition to 18 deaths, 1,603 cases of recovery, and 178 critical cases during the past 24 hours.
This brings the total number of COVID-19 cases in Libya to 359,019, including 52,027 active cases, 301,835 recoveries, and 5,157 deaths, since the pandemic spread in the country in March of last year, the National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) said in a statement on Wednesday.
Number of people who have been vaccinated with first dose against COVID-19 have reached 1,560,096, and 460,422 have received the second dose, NCDC statement pointed out.
