The head of the Libyan Audit Bureau, Khaled Shakshak, participated in the 63rd meeting of the Executive Council of the Arab Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ARABOSAI), held Sunday in the Qatari capital, Doha.
Leaders of the higher financial control and accounting bodies in the Arab countries that are members of the council participated in the meeting, The Libyan Audit Bureau said in a statement.
In its two-day meetings, the Council is scheduled to discuss a number of important topics on its agenda, including the follow-up of the organization’s activity since the sixty-second meeting, and consideration of the results of the meetings of the technical committees formed by the organization, within the areas related to capacity-building, professional and supervisory standards, sustainable development, and strategic planning.
