The governor of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL), Al Siddiq al Kabir, and the French ambassador to Tripoli, Mustafa Maharaj, discussed today efforts to unify the banking sector in the country.
According to a statement by CBL, Maharaj “praised the efforts to unify the Central Bank”, considering it an important step to advance the economic and banking sectors in Libya. Furthermore, the meeting focused on the Bank’s efforts on disclosure and transparency through the publication of the monthly statement of income and expenditure.
