German Ambassador Michael Ohnmacht and Governor of the Central Bank of Libya Saddek Elkaber met today at the bank’s headquarters in Tripoli to “exchange views on many issues of mutual concern,” according to a statement by the bank.
The bank noted that talks between Ohnmacht and Elkaber particulate focused on the process of unifying the Libyan central bank as well as the war in Ukraine and its financial repercussions on the global market.
