The Ukrainian police is delaying the evacuation of Libyans from Ukraine to Slovakia, said the Libyan Embassy in Bratislava on Sunday.
In a statement, the embassy explained that the police is giving Ukrainians and other European citizens priority over other nationalities to cross the border from Uzhgorod in Ukraine to Vyšné Nemecké in Slovakia.
The embassy called on Libyans “exercise caution, stay away from areas of tension, and to follow the advice of the Ukrainian authorities, especially with regard to traveling by land routes between cities”.
