Libyan Foreign Minister Najla Mangoush arrived in Algeria on Thursday where she met with the country’s president Abdelmadjid Tebboune who declared ope for a completion of the peaceful democratic transition in Libya.
The meeting was also attended by Algerian Foreign Minister Ramtane Lamamra, who reiterated the willingness of the Algerian side to “share with Tripoli the experience in matters of national reconciliation with the belligerents gained after the civil war,” according to a statement by the Algerian foreign ministry.
The Algeria officials also emphasized their support for the implementation of “projects in collaboration with the Commission of the African Union responsible for the dossier concerning the reconciliation and pacification of Libya”.
