The Libyan government will share details of all of its expenditures since it took office, Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh revealed on Sunday.
Speaking during a cabinet meeting, Dbeibeh explained the reason behind this decision is for “the Libyan people to know where these funds were spent and how the government’s projects were implemented”.
According to the premier, this announcement confirms “the principle of transparency and clarity that the government has pursued since it assumed its duties.”
However, Dbeibeh did not state when or how these information would be released publicly.
