Libya’sHouse of Representatives intends to hold an emergency session “in the coming days” to discuss naming officials to hold key positions of public organizations, a Libyan member of parliament revealed on Monday.
Zayed Hadiya, who chairs a House committee dedicated to this issue, did not disclose the date of the session. Instead, he appealed to the High Council of State to submit the names to be presented in the parliamentary session.
Hadiya confirmed that the parliament sent a list for candidates for the council to consider, but was surprised that the council did not respond to the consultations.
