Italian Interior Minister Luciana Lamorgese arrived in Tripoli on Wednesday, where she met with Libyan Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh to discuss issues of mutual concerns, at the top of which is the migration crisis.
According to a statement by the Libyan government, Lamorgese “stressed the need for continuous communication with the Libyan Ministry of Interior to coordinate a number of important common issue, the most important of which is the illegal immigration dossier”.
The two also discussed “current events in Tunisia and its impact on the migration dossier in particular.”
