Libya’s National Development Agency Strikes Strategic Lighting Deal with Signify (Philips) in Amsterdam

Amsterdam – The National Development Agency signed a partnership agreement today in Amsterdam, Netherlands, with Signify – Philips, as part of efforts to enhance international cooperation and support sustainable development projects in Libya. The agreement was signed by the Director General of the Agency, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Furjani, while Mr. As Tempelman, CEO of Signify, signed on behalf of the company.

The partnership agreement aims to explore areas of cooperation for the supply and provision of smart and energy-efficient lighting solutions, systems, and services from Signify, to serve future projects overseen by the Agency across various sectors.

Signify is considered a leading global company in manufacturing and providing high-quality connected lighting solutions to its customers in the commercial, industrial, municipal, and service sectors. This cooperation comes in the context of the Agency’s openness to European partnerships, technology transfer, and the application of the best international standards in implementing projects within Libya.
