Assistant Secretary-General and UN Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) Coordinator Raisedon Zenenga received Sunday a delegation of Tuareg notables and civil society representatives, where they discussed political and human rights issues linked to Tuareg identity and citizenship rights, according to UNSMIL.
The Tuareg delegation stressed the need for national authorities to address the national identity numbers in accordance with the LPDF roadmap and Libyan laws, and also emphasized the importance of their participation in the elections, UNSMIL tweeted on Sunday.
