General Abdel-Razek Al-Nadori, the General Commander of the Libyan National Army (LNA), described his yesterday’s meeting with General Mohammed Al-Hadad, the leader of military forces in west of the country, as “friendly” and expressed optimism for the results it could produce.
“It was very friendly and we came to an understanding faster than what the Libyan people expect,” Al-Nadori told reporters after the meeting in Sirte.
He said that meeting took place without foreign mediation, and both sides agreed to “unify the military soon without any interference from anyone”
The LNA commander revealed that both sides will hold future joint talks “in the days ahead” and members of the 5+5 Joint Military Committee will be invited to join.
