Libya’s crisis is rooted in security issues not political ones, General Ahmed Al-Mismari, the spokesman for the Libyan National Army (LNA), told Sputnik on Wednesday.
Al-Mismari explained that he presence of foreign forces and mercenaries has strength Libyan militias, which, he says, “complicated the situation even further.”
The LNA spokesman stated that only the international community can guarantee the withdrawal of those foreign forces out of Libya. However, he questioned whether foreign powers have a plan to stop the meddling in Libya’s affairs.
