Most northern areas are affected by a low-pressure system. It brings active winds, causing dust and sand. Horizontal visibility may decrease at times in some areas. Winds will be westerly to southwesterly in the northwestern regions. They will be westerly to northwesterly in the northeastern regions. Winds will be active to strong today. This is especially true over Al-Jabal al-Akhdar and the far eastern coast. Wind speeds may sometimes exceed 60 kilometers per hour. Caution is advised.
Scattered rain is recorded this morning. It may be accompanied by thunder cells at times.
Starting tomorrow, most northern, southwestern, and northeastern regions will again be affected. Active winds will cause dust and sand. Horizontal visibility may decrease at times in some areas.
Northwestern regions will experience a significant drop in temperatures on Sunday. There will be active northwesterly winds. Scattered rain will fall on some coastal areas. This condition will extend to the northeastern regions on Monday. This period is popularly known as “Qarra Al-Anz” (The Goat’s Chill).
