GENEVA – The Libyan Political Dialogue Forum must produce an outcome by the end of the day regarding the constitutional framework for the Libyan elections in December, said Ján Kubiš, the Head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya, on Thursday.
Speaking during an LPDF conference, Kubiš urged those gathered to work rigerously towards defining the constitutional framework.
“We do not have the time and we have no good reason to expand this discussion or to introduce issues that may lead to the postponement of these elections,” Kubiš told LPDF members.
“This session is your opportunity to rise to your historical responsibility.”
