Malta’s Ambassador to Libya Charles Saliba confirmed, during his meeting with the Libyan Deputy Prime Minister, Hussein al-Qutrani, that the Maltese Consulate in Benghazi will be reopened as soon as possible.
During his meeting with al-Qutrani at the Cabinet Office in Benghazi on Monday, Saliba indicated his country’s efforts to strengthen relations with Libya.
The two sides discussed the mechanism for reopening the Maltese Consulate in Benghazi to ensure the provision of services to all citizens wishing to travel to Malta and the European Union countries.
