The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), Masoud Suleiman, during a meeting of the General Management Committee which he chaired, stressed the continuation of implementing the corporation’s strategy aimed at raising production levels and maintaining the results achieved during the past period.
Alternative Production Strategies
Suleiman directed the necessity of developing alternatives and compensatory solutions in cases of full or partial maintenance and overhauls of oil complexes. He pointed to the urgent need for a clear strategy for gas production, with the identification of priorities, support for seismic survey projects, and giving priority to inspection, measurement, safety, and environmental protection projects.
Digital Transformation and Institutional Integration
He also emphasized accelerating the pace of work in the field of digital transformation under the supervision of the General Administration for Information and Digital Transformation, to achieve the goal of institutional integration. He stressed the importance of adhering to transparency in tenders and announcing them through the corporation’s official website, in a way that ensures fairness in granting opportunities to investors and suppliers.
Cybersecurity and Human Resources
The meeting also discussed key files, foremost among them cybersecurity and ensuring the confidentiality of information. In addition, it stressed the smooth processing of employee salaries in the sector and placing it at the top of the priorities, while emphasizing the implementation of the approved manual of authorities and activating the role of middle management.
