The Malta-based aviation company Medavia has announced that today’s inauguration flight Malta – Tripoli – Malta had been successfully completed.
“The warm welcome at Mitiga airport in Tripoli was greatly appreciated by all present,” Medavia said in a statement on Monday.
“We would like to take this opportunity to thank our colleagues, partners, and all stakeholders for their hard work in helping us to restart the air link between Malta and Libya,” it added.
It is noteworthy that today’s flight was the first after resuming flights between the two countries, which had been suspended due to unrest in Libya and COVID-19 situation.
