The President of the Presidential Council (PC), Mohammed al-Menfi, discussed Sunday with the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL), al-Siddiq al-Kabir, the latest developments of the unification of the monetary authority in Libya.
Al-Menfi stressed the importance and necessity of the unity and independence of the country’s sovereign institutions, especially the CBL.
For his part, the CBL Governor briefed al-Menfi on the plan to unify the Bank, and the necessary procedures and timeframe for the process.
