Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation discusses with Libya Reconstruction strengthening joint cooperation

Benghazi – The Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation, Abdullah Al-Sharif Arhouma, held a meeting in Benghazi. He met with Adel Al-Deeb, advisor to Emaar Libya Holding Company. Abubaker Ifkireen, the Minister’s office director, also attended. The meeting discussed prospects for joint cooperation. This covered several areas of mutual interest.

The discussion focused on activating previous memorandums of understanding. These were between the ministry and the company. The aim is to support training and rehabilitation programs. It will also enhance the competence of national personnel. They also explored implementing joint projects. These projects will support the Libyan labor market. They will create new job opportunities for youth.

Both parties emphasized continued coordination. They stressed developing joint work mechanisms. This is to meet reconstruction and development needs. The country is currently undergoing this phase. They focused on building effective partnerships with the private sector.

The company’s advisor praised the ministry’s efforts. These efforts target labor market policy development. He affirmed Emaar Libya Holding’s readiness. They are ready to enhance cooperation. They will provide technical and consultative support.

This meeting is part of the ministry’s efforts. It aims to expand cooperation with major national institutions. This will enhance labor market efficiency. It supports sustainable development in Libya.

Both parties agreed to hold further technical meetings. These will take place in the coming period. The goal is to develop clear implementation plans. These plans are for the proposed projects. This ensures tangible results on the ground. It will increase employment levels. It will also reduce unemployment rates. The private sector’s role will be strengthened. It is a key partner in economic and social development. This will be done through time-bound joint work programs. These programs ensure continuous monitoring and evaluation.
