Cairo – The Libyan Government’s Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation, Abdullah Arhouma, discussed the implementation mechanisms. This concerns the second phase of the training and rehabilitation program. The discussions took place in Cairo, the Egyptian capital. This initiative aims to develop national cadres. It also seeks to enhance the efficiency of job seekers.
This occurred during an extensive meeting. It was held with officials from the “Workers of Egypt Complex.” The complex is located in the 6th of October City industrial zone. The meeting reviewed the results of the first phase of cooperation. They also discussed the work plan for the next phase. This plan will enhance joint training programs.
The meeting addressed ways to develop specialized training programs. These programs cover multiple fields. These include information technology and cybersecurity. Artificial intelligence and entrepreneurship were also covered. Modern media was another focus area. They also discussed mechanisms to prepare job seekers. This preparation must align with labor market needs.
The Minister affirmed the Ministry’s ongoing strategy during the meeting. This strategy aims to qualify national cadres. It utilizes specialized programs inside and outside Libya. He highlighted the importance of partnerships. These partnerships are with specialized training institutions. They support employment efforts.
An agreement was reached to expand training pathways. This will be done through internal and external programs. This contributes to the transfer of expertise. It also enhances opportunities for integrating Libyan youth into the labor market.
