Tripoli – Masouda Al-Aswad held discussions today. She is the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for Educational Affairs. Her meeting was with Mary Vargas. Vargas is the Cultural Attaché at the U.S. Embassy in Libya. A delegation accompanied Vargas.
They discussed joint cooperation between the Ministry and the Embassy. This collaboration will continue throughout the current year. The meeting also explored joint cooperation for 2026. This involves the Ministry of Education and the U.S. Embassy. A primary focus is enhancing the competence of English language teachers and inspectors.
Developing teaching methods and techniques is also a goal. This will improve English language education. It aims to ensure students receive optimal educational services. Hatem Abu Qareen attended the meeting. He is the Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs at the Ministry. Musab Abu Hudaimeh was also present. He represents the Ministry’s International Cooperation Office.
